Guangbo 2013 annual economic work conference was held on January 12th. The conference has listened to and reviewed general manager’s working report, as well as the working report of each company. It has selected advanced collective and outstanding management cadre in 2012. The president gave the important speech at the end.
General manager Wang Junping made an economic working report on “thoughts in change, action to improve”. The report covers two parts, work review in 2012 and planning in 2013.
Manager Wang pointed out, in 2012, the company has endured many challenges from the change of external economic environment in the course of its development. Various departments closely around the business objectives that set at the beginning of the year, firmly grasp the work policy of diligent in process and fine in details, overcome difficulties
by the means of
process management and details management, continuously improve the management level and improve operation efficiency. The work has achieved significant results, providing a strong guarantee for the company's steady development. The results of the past year didn’t come easy. It was really a group effort. I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone’s hard work in the past year.
Manager Wang stressed that in 2013, company's business will face more complicated external environment, taking various factors into consideration, work out the company’s whole management budget target in 2013. According to the company’s planning and deployment, in 2013, the company will advocate the developing tone of “thoughts in change, action to improve”. Further refine the functional goals of the various departments, subside management function, perfect the performance appraisal system, strengthen the responsibility consciousness of personnel at all levels as well as the practical action, so as to promote the realization of the overall goal of the company.
Finally, Manager Wang pointed out, the new year already started. The whole company should fully understand the situation. In face of the opportunities and challenges, should establish a firm faith to grasp opportunities, and meet challenges with the sense of crisis. Responsibility goes first, fulfill the duties, give full play to the advantage resources, and promote the company to develop faster and stronger.

The President pointed out, at present, the global situation is very complicated. The world economy has entered into the most difficult period of the new century, and the world economy downward trend hasn’t hit bottom yet. Economic recovery in developed countries is weak, global inflation pressure increases, and protectionism is rising obviously. Domestic macro policy has entered into the phase of adjustment of maintaining growth, adjusting structure and promoting transformation. The production and operation of enterprises and sustainable growth is also facing severe test. Domestic demand is sluggish. At present, domestic demand shortage has become the bottleneck of restricting the further development of the national economy. To thoroughly solve this problem, need in-depth reform and a long-term process. The cost of production pressure is still big. Various difficulties like in financing and employment are still big, which are difficult to improve in the short term.
At last, the President raised some suggestions on administrative cadre how to strengthen details management. Firstly, put staff and work target task in the first place. Put staff in the first place, which means do the things satisfied by the staff. The implementation of management system must follow just, fair and open. Secondly, all things must start well and end well. High-end work and speak less empty words. This is not only a kind of responsibility, but a kind of good conduct. Thirdly, should have the skill in spotting problems. More importantly, must have the ability to solve problems. Fourthly, want to do things, can do things and can accomplish things. Fifthly, should set an example and dare to be the first. Middle-level cadres are most closely connected to junior staff, their words and deeds have the important influence to the staff.
The President finally pointed out, year 2013 is the crucial year of inheriting the past and ushering in the future, is an important year of Guangbo stepping into new historical starting point since the 20th anniversary of its establishment. Hope all staff set the new year as a starting point, on the basis of summarizing 20-year development experience, continuously push forward the reform of the company. Maybe reform has certain risk. No reform must be won’t make a mistake. However, it will be stalled if there’s no reform, should burden the historical duty of development. Therefore, our vast middle-level cadres should change ideas, make bold explorations and dare to be the first. Not only have the courage to bear the charge of the development, but dare to undertake the heavy business. Work hard to complete the company’s future strategic task and the business objectives of this year. Create a good start for Guangbo’s new developing, and strive for constructing new Guangbo with overall modem enterprise management system.
