In view of the frequent recent domestic elevator safety accidents, to enhance safety awareness, to ensure that employees can calm down and effectively treat when meeting the elevator safety incidents, recently, Guangbo Group had the elevator safety operation knowledge training at the multi-function hall on the first floor of the administrative office building at the company headquarters. Altogether about 50 elevator operators, material handlers and safetystaff attended the training.

This training invited the elevator company’s specialized teacher with rich practical experience to teach. At the training class, with theory combining with practice, the teacher explained the elevator structure principle and operation management, elevator safety management and relevant laws and regulations, elevator main faults and emergency handling, elevator daily examination and maintenance process in simple terms. In order to make the training content be more practical, the teacher further analyzed the cause of all kinds of elevator safety accidents that happened in China recently. The teacher had detailed explanation of how to correctly use the elevator, elevator common faults, how to do safety prevention and emergency self-help and save themselves. In class, trainees listened to the teacher carefully and took notes. Meanwhile, they had a deep communication with the teacher about the problems of elevator operation and maintenance that they met at work.

Through this elevator safety knowledge training activity, it not only enhanced the company employees’ awareness of elevator safety and knowledge of the proper use of the elevator, but improved their screening of common elevator fault, response capacity and maintenance level, providing guarantee of the company’s safety production.
