On the afternoon of December 1, Guangbo Stock 2016 lean production results conference and summary commendation congress was held in the company’s lecture hall. The meeting comprehensively summarized 2016 lean production promotion work, commended and awarded sub factories and teams that behaved positively in 2016 improvement work. Over 100 people attended this meeting, such as general manager Wang Junping, production module factory director, middle management cadres, technical backbone, specialist and those who are awarded.
At the very beginning of the meeting, through a tour of the benchmarking factory, the factory workshop grassroots cadres and the heads of departments investigated each factory’s lean production improved conditions. Later, they issued typical cases in paper products no.3 factory, no.2 factory, no.4 factory, printing factory and industrial plant. With eliminating waste as the core content, the case involves the process optimization, product quality enhancement, equipment improvement and management style. It embodies the improvement concept of small improvement, big harvest, little wisdom and great achievement. This conference provides everyone with a better communication platform, at the same time provides everyone an opportunity for study.
Through on-the-spot investigation, industrial stationery workshop “binding wire process improvement” project, boutique book workshop “hardcover gluing/plane angle merge process” project, boutique book workshop “rubber band process decreasing workers improvement” project gained the first, second and third place of this lean production improvement special activity. Group leaders presented award-winning workshop with a trophy and certificate.
Group general manager Wang Junping pointed out in the concluding remarks, lean production is an important development initiative put forward by the company in 2016 under the development tenet of promoting enterprise with lean efficiency. Each factory made solid progress since this activity, trying to find lean management’s commanding height, foothold, pointcut and lifting point, and received good results.
On the current new situation faced by lean management and work arrangement of next stop, general manager Wang Junping put forward three requirements. Around the customer requirements and customer value, carry out various forms of management innovation. Around promoting professionalism and execution capability, strengthen the construction of the lean management team. Around the development of the enterprise centripetal force and cohesion, strengthen the construction of lean management culture. Work hard to take on and make persistent efforts, make the company's lean management walk more steadily and more accurately.
